Hi,
This post has nothing to do with Search Engines, or SEO. It has everything to do with my cell phone experiences over the last 11 months.
In Sept 2004, I went hunting for a new cell phone. I was trying to decide between a Blackberry, a Treo 600, or an MS based phone.
I didn’t like navigating with the scroll wheel on the Blackberry, but wanted a keyboard. So I ended up with the PalmOne Treo 600, from Bell Mobility. It was last September, so these were still expensive phones in Canada then.
What a disaster the Palm 600 has been!
The phone worked ok for a while, but after a few months I noted that phone was fine for short conversations without the earbud, but it was hard to hear on its own. I discovered the volume control kept resetting itself - that kind of explained the problem.
After about 6 months the phone started to just drain its battery within 2 hours - on standy! On top of the constantly shifting volume, a screen display that would go from bright todark on its own whim while in use. It was more than annoying.
