Very often when we’re talking to prospective SEO clients, we hear the question “Can you guarantee me a top 10 listing in Google?”
The answer is no.
No one can.
If anyone tells you otherwise, or promises you a top 10 ranking in Google, RUN.
Google says so right in their webmaster guidelines: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google. “
Judging by the fact that Google’s algorithms don’t even giver itself a #1 ranking for the query “search engine”, they can’t guarantee it either.
