Just a brief mention of a news search site that recently went live. We can always use more news sites right? This one’s called ez2news. It provides news under 16 nationalities, all displayed at the top of the default homepage as small hyperlinked flags which lead to sub sites. These include Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, the UK, the US, China and Japan. It claims to crawl 12,500 news sites for info.
Under categories at the left hand side of the page, you can select to sort by: Country, Language, Topic, Today in History, Top News, US Business, US News, US Sports, War in Iraq and Weather World. Although it’s being hosted someplace in Europe, ez2news seems to be catering more to the American market, judging by categories selection. Keep an eye out for more updates to the site since it’s still pretty new.
