ed. note: This is a bit of a departure from a normal Metamend blog post but I think many of the readers will appreciate the announcement. I am making it here instead of at the SiteProNews blog because of the more exclusive nature of the readers in this space.
thanks – jim

One of my other positions in the search engine marketing world is executive editor of Jayde-Online’s news publications, www.Sitepronews.com and www.SEO-news.com/. I’ve spent the better part of the last two months helping to coordinate the remake of www.sitepronews.com.

www.Sitepronews.com is being redeveloped into a daily webmaster information and advice magazine featuring content from many of the best writers working in search marketing and drawing from a six year deep archive of expert articles.

Our goal is to present three original feature articles a day and news-feeds from thirty to forty other sources. We also offer one of the largest historic archives of articles written for webmasters and online marketers.

The SiteProNews newsletter has always been about experts helping each other with written advice and information. As it has grown, it has become one of the most widely read webmaster news and information sources. Today, it has over 750,000 double-subscribed readers. (Double-subscribed means they have taken two distinct actions to include their email addresses on our lists) Though we are moving the domain, sitepronews.com to a daily magazine, the thrice weekly subscribed newsletter will not be affected.

This is our “soft-launch” week, the one in which we don’t do the really big-stuff to announce we are here, but post a daily news magazine to work out lingering bugs. It is an enormous undertaking. That said, there is one large bug we are working on that will prevent publishing tomorrow. The next soft-edition will be posted early Wednesday morning.

I am looking for feedback on the site. Anyone interested in providing critiques or advice can contact me directly at jimhedger@sitepronews.com
