Browser Compatibility : This is a common problem for Internet users. There are many types of Internet browsers and versions available to users. When web designers decide to use the latest W3C compliant standards on their web sites, they run the risk of alienating Internet users that do not have the latest version of a W3C compliant web browser.

Browser upgrades are usually provided by the companies that make them, but these upgrades may be restricted by a user's operating system, or the type of hardware the user is running.
