Define: HTTP

HTTP: Hypertext Transfer Protocol - the primary way to display information on the web. Was originally designed for the purpose of publishing and receiving HTML documents. Simple TCP/IP application protocol implemented to allow the exchange of web documents between clients and hosts on the Internet.
