Define: Search Marker
Search Marker: One of the pieces of information search engine algorithms will analyze when trying to determine the content relevance of a site, in order to return a relevant set of search results to the user.
The main markers are the content of the title tag, description tag, keywords tag, and the occurrence of the keywords within the displayed content to the browser.
