Define: Submission Agent
Submission Agent: Application that performs the task of submitting a web site's URL to the search engine. The monthly automated solution performs submission to about 100 search engines world-wide. When using the automated solution, it is redundant for the client to perform further submissions of the domain to the engines. In fact, some engines will penalize domains that are over submitted.
