VICTORIA INTERNET COMPANY NOMINATED BEST B2B IN BC

(Victoria, BC) A Victoria Internet Marketing Firm has been nominated for a provincial best Business-to-Business award. Metamend Software and Design Ltd., (www.metamend.com) is one of four finalists for the coveted Marshall McLuhan Eworld Award for Business Excellence.

Metamend's flagship "relevance engine" software is designed to enhance the marketing and promotion of web sites over the Internet. The software creates and inserts optimized metatags directly into the HTML source code of a website, then submits the new data to the internet's major search engines. The software continually updates the metatags by analyzing site content and correlates this information with current consumer search patterns and trends, thus producing increasingly searchable keywords and phrases for the site. The "mending" procedure allows the search engines and the website to learn from each other. The result? The website increases in relevance to the search engines and effectively begins to help market itself by attracting targeted traffic. The entire process is fully automated. A simple idea with Killer App written all over it. One client's website jumped from receiving a paltry 350 visitors or "hits" per month, to a staggering 193,000 in less than six weeks.
